Description:

This variety of cabbage native to China, rustic and very productive, produces beautiful apples wrapped in bright green ribs of medium width.
Its delicate flavour, less strong than that of classic cabbage, is very appreciated.

Soil tip:

To stagger your production and harvests of Chinese cabbage over time, sow successively from the end of June to the end of August

Culture advice:

1. Sows: Sow from July to August in lines 30 cm apart.
2. Thinning: When your plants have 4-5 leaves, pull out the smaller ones and keep only the strongest ones to leave only one cabbage every 30 cm.
3. Harvest: Harvest from September to November when the apple is well formed.

Plants:

Chinese cabbage likes the proximity of celery because it protects it from pests such as cabbage pierid that hate the smell of celery.
