Description:

This traditional variety is very productive and gives many short and cylindrical fruits.
These pickles can be stored over a long period of time by having them confit.
The pickle is also delicious after 3 months canned with vinegar.

Culinary tip:

The pickle is delicious after 3 months canned with vinegar.

Soil tip:

To maintain good humidity, straw the feet (covered with vegetable matter) and water regularly. The pickle likes sunny exposure.

Culture advice:

1. Sows: Sow from May to June, 4-5 seeds in small shallow holes 1 m x 60 cm apart.
2. Lightening: About 10 days after sowing, keep only the two most vigorous plants in each hole and pull out the rest.
3. Harvest: Harvest from August to October. To have pickles from July, sow under cover in March-April.

Plants:

The pickle likes the proximity of cabbage because together they strengthen their respective health.
