This variety gives very beautiful, voluminous roots of about 20 cm to the white flesh. It keeps very well.
Black radish can be used in salads or cooked like turnip.
For longer harvests, space your 15-day seedlings. This radish is 2-3 cm deep and prefers a medium-shaded exposure.
1. Sows: Sow from March to August in 2-3 cm deep furrows, 25 cm apart, and pack the soil.
2. Lightening: At the 3-4-leaf stage, thin the smaller ones to leave only one radish every 15 cm. Water regularly.
3. Harvest: Harvest from May to November.
radish likes the proximity of lettuce because when they intersperse their seedlings, the radishes will grow in the shade and the lettuces will not be too tight.
