A vigorous plant derived from the robust liseron, it is one of the most cultivated climbers because of its hardiness which makes it very easy to succeed. It offers many trumpet-shaped flowers in scarlet red.

The passivelore or passion flower, native to tropical America, is a climbing vine adorned with persistent foliage, dark green varnished and beautiful blue and white flowers, followed by bright orange berries, edible when ripe.
