Want to fill an air conditioning or refrigeration system? The Duracool 22a gas was designed to replace HCFC R22, a gas that has been banned in Europe.
Why choose the Duracool 22a?
This hydrocarbon-based natural gas has no greenhouse effect and no impact on the ozone layer. Because they work at lower pressures, Duracool gases are less energy-intensive than CFCs, HFCs or HCFCs. The energy savings achieved are up to 40%. Sold in 221-gram cans, the 22a Duracool is equivalent to 567 grams of R22. It also exists in a 9-kilogram cylinder and can be used alone in an empty CFC, HFC or HCFC circuit. However, it should not be installed in a car air conditioning system.
