The ACTO Snake and All Reptiles Repellent (Reference: RESER 4) is a specialised ready-to-use mini-granule treatment, designed to effectively protect your outdoor spaces against reptile intrusions. Packaged in a 400 g box, this product offers dual preventive and curative action to secure rockeries, terrace surroundings, pool areas and house foundations. Thanks to its targeted formulation, this box treats surfaces up to 10 m² with active protection lasting over 6 months, effectively repelling snakes, grass snakes, vipers, lizards and slow worms.

A Disruptive Sensory Mode of Action Based on Geraniol

The effectiveness of this repellent is based on a naturally derived active substance, Geraniol (concentrated at 0.33% w/w - CAS no. 106-24-1). Reptiles explore and analyse their environment by detecting chemical molecules in the air using their tongue and vomeronasal organ. Upon application, the mini-granules act directly on the gustatory and olfactory receptors of snakes. Under the effect of ambient moisture, the product releases a heavy gas that lingers close to the ground and profoundly disrupts the reptiles' orientation system, forcing them to immediately flee the protected zone.

Automatic Reactivation by Dew and Rain

The mechanical formulation of this ACTO snake repellent is specifically designed to interact with the soil and weather conditions. Direct contact with the ground optimises the diffusion of active ingredients, while exposure to natural moisture, morning dew or raindrops triggers the continuous reactivation of the repellent heavy gas. This physical property guarantees a durable and constant protective barrier for 6 months around your outdoor living areas, resisting climatic variations without losing intensity.

Easy Application and Ground Spreading Protocol

Its application is easy and quick to ensure effortless perimeter security. Wearing protective gloves to apply the product cleanly, simply spread a handful of mini-granules per square metre (i.e. a precise dosage of 40 g per m²) along the isolation strip to be protected. It is recommended to apply the granules directly onto bare soil or mulch, taking care not to spread the product on plant foliage in order to preserve their development while optimising ground contact.

Biocide Safety, Storage and Responsible Disposal

Approved as a biocidal product for reptile protection, this repellent requires strict adherence to safety instructions. The original packaging must be kept tightly closed, out of reach of children and away from moisture. In case of accidental skin contact, thorough washing with soap and water is recommended. At the end of treatment or when renewing the granules, the packaging and residues must not be discarded with household waste but taken to an approved waste disposal facility in order to protect the aquatic and terrestrial environment.
