The Professional Ultrasonic Repeller ACTO Special Large Areas (Reference: RUSCS2) is a high-end deterrent device specifically developed to protect large spaces against the intrusion of rodents and insects. Designed to sanitize the interior of buildings, hangars, factories and warehouses, this device deploys a permanent acoustic shield capable of covering an area of up to 325 m² maximum. It effectively repels rats, mice, dormice, garden dormice, martens, bats, and various insects (fleas, moths, spiders, wasps, scorpions) without generating habituation or requiring the use of toxic chemical products.

A dual-speaker disruptive acoustic mechanism

The operating principle is based on the continuous emission of ultrasonic waves delivered by 2 integrated high-power speakers. These ultrasounds (frequencies above 8 kHz for rats, and above 20 kHz for mice and insects) generate a major disruptive effect on the hearing of pests. Unable to identify the source of danger within this hostile environment, rodents feel insecure and permanently leave the treated area. The waves do not pass through solid walls but ricochet off hard surfaces while being absorbed by soft materials.

Anti-habituation frequency adjusters and volume controls

To ensure lasting effectiveness validated by independent laboratories, this professional device integrates frequency and volume adjusters. The ability to modulate the frequency prevents animals from becoming accustomed to the sound signals over time. Three emission modes are available: Silent mode (pure ultrasound), Normal mode (ultrasound coupled with slightly audible sounds) and High mode (ultrasound with audible sounds). A light indicator allows visual monitoring of the correct operation of the mains-powered device.

Easy installation and targeted positioning heights

Installation is easy and simply requires connecting the device to an electrical outlet using the power cord provided in the case. To optimize diffusion, the positioning of the device must be adjusted according to the target: 5 to 60 cm above the ground for rats and mice, 20 to 50 cm for fleas, moths and spiders, or at height for bats. Care should be taken not to cover the unit or place it behind furniture or a curtain so as not to block the path of the waves.

Eco-responsible design and safety guidelines

In line with an eco-responsible approach, the device deploys very low energy consumption of 0.4 Watt maximum, enabling continuous 24/7 emission at no extra cost. Completely inaudible in silent mode to humans, dogs, cats, farm animals, birds and fish, these ultrasounds do not disrupt daily household life. The device must not be used in premises housing domestic rodents (hamsters, gerbils...) and must be positioned at least 1 metre away from people when audible sound modes are activated.
