The 1000 litre IBC tank filler lid is an essential safety accessory designed to fit standard 150mm openings (DN 150). This black polypropylene model offers double modularity: it is equipped with a 2-inch central opening to accommodate either a connection system or the degassing vent provided to ensure the pressure balance of your tank.
This cover has been developed to offer total flexibility according to the needs of your installation:
Installation is easy and intuitive thanks to the wide and robust DN150 thread. Its ribbed design allows for an efficient grip for airtight manual tightening. Made of high-quality black polypropylene, this lid has optimal protection against UV rays, which prevents the plastic from becoming brittle or cracking under the effect of the sun, ensuring an extended lifespan outdoors.
In a concrete case of static storage, the installation of the vent on the 2" thread is essential to safely evacuate the fermentation gases. For example, during a filling phase from the bottom of the tank, the vent ensures the evacuation of compressed air, thus protecting the structural integrity of your IBC. For top pumping, the cover allows the vent to be removed to screw in a standard 2-inch suction cane.
Thanks to its high-density polypropylene construction, this lid has superior mechanical resistance to shocks and extreme thermal variations (frost or high heat). This inert material is highly resistant to chemical corrosion, making it compatible with a wide range of liquids. This structural robustness guarantees a constant seal and reliability of the 2'' thread season after season, thus ensuring the durability of your storage system.
