22a Duracool recharging kit - R290

The duracool 22a was designed to replace the HCFC R22 , a freon banned to this day in France and Europe, and which still equips many air conditioning systems today. Duracool 22a is a natural refrigerant gas with no greenhouse effect or effect on the hydrocarbon-based ozone layer.

The Duracool 22a is sold in 221 gram cans, and is equivalent to 567 grams of R22. Refrigerants DURACOOL® do not require approvals to be purchased, or installed in an empty CFC, HFC or HCFC circuit. Any intervention on a circuit that still contains fluoride: CFCs, HFCs or HCFCs requires the intervener to comply with applicable laws (Decree of July 4, 2009).

The duracool 22a should not be installed in car air conditioning.
