The qualities of refrigerant gas Duracool

This gas is popular for vehicle air conditioning systems in particular, for its superior cooling quality and its ecological qualities. It is a refrigerant of hydrocarbons that does not cause a greenhouse effect and does not harm the ozone layer. Duracool gas is a substitute gas for R12 and 134a. Non-toxic, non-corrosive and very safe, the Duracool poses no danger to users and extends the life of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

What tools for Duracool refrigerant gas?

Adapter, tube cutters, electronic scales, leak detector, dudgeon meters, vacuum pumps, Manifold, fast fittings, thermometers or vacuometers... It needs tools to maintain a refrigeration system! Duracool 12a is a natural hydrocarbon-based refrigerant gas, free of greenhouse effect and impact on the ozone layer. Its flammable nature makes it necessary to use adequate equipment. Replacing the R12, R134a and 1234yf commonly used in car air conditioning, this gas is compatible with both mineral and synthetic air conditioning oils. Thanks to its larger molecules, it offers a saving of 30 to 40% on the full charge of the circuit. Thus, a can of 170 gr can substitute 484 gr of HFC-R134a, 513 gr of CFC-R12 and 340gr of HFO 1234yf.
