    Description:

This plant native to the Mediterranean (North Africa, southern Europe, Syria) has been known since the Middle Ages.
The leaves of the borage are used as an infusion for its medicinal properties and the flowers to embellish your salads.

    Soil tip:

The borage is easily reseeded on its own. Instead, sow it on the edge of your vegetable garden.

    Culture advice:

    1. Sows: Sow from March to May in your pots or planters and cut the soil.
    2. Thinning: At stage 6-7 leaves, pull out the smallest plants and keep only the most vigorous one to leave only one plant per pot.
    3. Harvest: Harvest flowers and leaves from June to October. You can grow your borage directly in your garden by sowing a plant every 20 cm.

    Plants:

The borage is good companion of cabbages because it keeps the pierid away. It protects the strawberry by its anti-fungal properties.
