This aromatic plant, native to the Orient, is easy to grow. Its leaves, with a fresh taste so special, are used to lift dishes. Its seeds (actually fruits), whole, serve as spice, and ground, as a base for curries.
Tip Vilmorin: Coriander likes proximity to all aphid-fearing vegetables.
Sow in March-April, in a pot or planter, or from May, in the open ground and harvest the leaves 2-3 months after sowing and then the fruit as needed.
Taste the leaves, to flavour the dishes; seeds, as a spice and curry base.
