Strawberry Spinach Seed Bag - Chenopodium capitatum

This plant, native to North America, is original since you can taste both its nutty leaves and its beetroot-flavoured fruits.

It is about 1m high.

Tip Vilmorin : The leaves are eaten cooked like spinach or raw in salads. The fruits can be eaten in jelly, coulis or jams.

Strawberry spinach needs a lot of water, so it is advisable to mulch the soil in order to keep the soil moist.
