The Master GARDENA watering controller is ideal for automating your watering systems (drip irrigation, surface sprinklers, etc.) with ease, thanks to its large LCD screen. It offers ultra-flexible programming thanks to 1 rotary push-button for all settings. This GARDENA watering programmer offers 6 different settings (start/duration/frequency), useful for pre-watering and seasonal adjustment of duration in % according to weather conditions. Automatically controls 6 independent watering networks. Ideal for planting areas with different water requirements, or when the flow rate is insufficient to supply several networks. It can also be used to connect a humidity sensor or rain gauge to save water. The Master GARDENA watering controller features Safe Stop technology, which stops watering starting if the battery charge level is insufficient to close the valve. The weatherproof control unit is removable.

Automatic, economical watering

With GARDENA, your garden can be watered automatically and efficiently even when you're away. So you can enjoy your free time and still have a beautiful lawn and attractive plants. If your automatic watering system is programmed to water early in the morning or in the evening, less water will evaporate. This will save you water and money, while still watering your garden efficiently.

Easy setting

The watering timer can be easily set using a large rotary knob and push-button to select data and confirm. A large display allows you to read the settings at a glance. The control box is weatherproof and detachable for easy programming. An optional key lock prevents inadvertent (un)setting of parameters.

6 programming options

Six independent programs can be configured for watering your garden. Start-up, duration and days of the week can be adjusted. This allows you to program very precise watering schedules according to the water requirements of your plants. Experienced gardeners use it, for example, for additional pre-watering to prepare the soil and plant roots for the main watering later on. This promotes water absorption and plant growth.

Adaptable to climatic conditions

Watering duration can be reduced centrally across all 6 programs in 10% increments in the event of bad weather. Alternatively, a "rain" function can be used to suspend watering for 1 to 7 days.

Manual watering function

The manual watering function lets you fill a bucket without having to unscrew the timer, and stops automatically after a preset period

Safe Stop technology

Thanks to a 100% reliable valve, watering does not start if the battery level is insufficient to close the valve. A unique technology that warns via a red LED when the battery charge level is low.

Economical watering

For efficient, economical watering, a moisture sensor can be connected to water only when the soil is dry

Multi-programming

By combining the watering controller with a 6-way selector switch GARDENA (Ref.1197), up to 6 different zones can be controlled individually
