In the design or maintenance of fluid networks, it is common to need to connect two female elements of the same diameter. The Equal Male/Male Nipple is the key piece to achieve this junction in a simple, effective and totally safe way. Acting as a threaded bridge, it ensures perfect line continuity without changing gauges. With our many years of experience, we know that the quality of the fittings is essential for the longevity of an installation. This nipple is designed to meet the most stringent requirements of professional plumbing and high-pressure drinking water systems.
The performance of this fitting is based on the nobility of its material. This Equal Nipple is made of CW617N Brass, an alloy selected for its exceptional resistance to wear, corrosion and stress deformation. This robustness allows it to withstand a Nominal Pressure (PN) of 16 Bar without fail, making it suitable for residential, tertiary and light industrial installations. Compliance with health standards is an absolute priority: this product complies with the amended decree of 29 May 1997, which attests to its suitability for safe use in water networks intended for human consumption. This certification is the guarantee of a safe and responsible investment.
Every detail of this nipple has been designed to facilitate the work of the professional and guarantee the reliability of the connection.
Connection Standard: The fitting uses the standard "G" ISO 228-1 thread (BSPP Gas series). This parallel thread is recognized worldwide and ensures immediate compatibility with the majority of tubes, valves and female accessories of the same diameter.
Holding Dishes: Holding plates are integrated and precision machined. They provide a firm and stable grip to standard wrenches, allowing the tightening torque needed for an initial seal to be applied without damaging the surface of the fitting.
Perfect sealing: Both male ferrules feature flat and wide joint reaches. This technical feature, which is essential for Gas series fittings, guarantees an extremely reliable and durable flat gasket seal (minimum thickness of 1 mm) under pressure, by compressing the seal between the nipple and the female fittings.
The Equal Nipple M/M stands out for its great flexibility of use in different thermal environments. Although the brass fitting itself is very strong, its temperature range of effective use will depend on the gasket selected by the installer.
Compatible sealing materials: The system is compatible with a wide range of sealants: PTFE tape (for the net), elastomer gasket (for cold and hot water), fiber gasket (for steam or high temperatures) or specific pastes/glues .
This adaptability allows the nipple to be used in systems as varied as cold water distribution, central heating circuits or industrial networks of non-aggressive fluids.
The Equal Male/Male Nipple is the preferred solution for all assembly operations of the same diameter between two female threads.
Best way to use the product:
Check the Joint: Always make sure that the flat seal is correctly positioned on the seat and that it is suitable for the fluid temperature.
Cross clamping: Screw the two female ends in a progressive and balanced way using the retaining plates to achieve uniform compression of the joint.
Examples of use:
Piping Assembly: Connect two sections of rigid pipe with female threaded ends.
Valve and Meter Mounting: Install a water meter, filter, or valve with female threads, connecting them to the main line of the same diameter.
Junction Repair: Replace a defective fitting or extend a water supply line without changing the nominal diameter of the system.
Equipment Integration: Attach devices or instruments (pressure switches, etc.) to a water or compressed air pipe.
