The presence of mice in a house or premises is never harmless. These small rodents, although discreet, are the source of many nuisances. Their noise in the partitions and false ceilings is only the visible part of the problem. In reality, they attack your belongings: foodstuffs are soiled and made unfit for consumption, while insulation materials, electrical ducts and even pipes can be eaten away, leading to the risk of breakdowns, short circuits or leaks. Given their very rapid reproductive capacity, with several litters per year, a small presence can quickly turn into a real infestation. Acting effectively is therefore essential to protect your home.
The ACTO mouse paste is a ready-made bait specifically designed to attract mice. Its recipe is a balanced mix of food components that are very popular with these rodents, such as milk flour, sugar and fats enriched with cereals. This texture and composition make the bait more attractive than other food sources in the environment, ensuring that mice consume it first. Presented in the form of 10 gram sachets, the product is easy to dose and handle, while preserving the freshness of the dough for maximum effectiveness.
The effectiveness of the MOUSE bait is based on its active ingredient, difenacum, ACTO the bait. It is a second-generation anticoagulant substance dosed at 0.0029%. Unlike poisons with a lightning effect that can alert other members of the colony, difenacum acts in a delayed manner. After consumption, the mouse succumbs in 4 to 10 days due to internal bleeding. This progressive mode of action is a major advantage: it does not arouse the suspicion of other mice, which will continue to consume the bait without associating it with danger, thus allowing the control of the entire colony.
The use of this rodenticide is reserved for indoor use to control mice. For a correct and secure application, follow these recommendations:
Wear gloves when handling the bags so you don't leave your smell in them.
Do not open the bags. Mice will gnaw on them directly.
Place the recommended dose of 50 g of bait (i.e. 5 x 10 g bags) in a secure bait station.
Place bait stations where mice pass: along walls, in dark corners, behind furniture, in cellars, attics, or warehouses.
If you use several stations, space them 2 to 5 metres apart.
Inspect the stations every 2 to 3 days at the beginning of the treatment, and then once a week. Refill them if the bait has been consumed. The complete treatment usually takes less than 35 days.
This product is a biocide (TP14) that must be handled with care. The use of secure and fixed bait stations is mandatory. They protect the bait from dust and prevent access to children, pets, and other non-target species. This product contains a bittering agent (denatonium benzoate) to reduce the risk of accidental ingestion. Keep the product locked and out of the reach of children. If you feel unwell, consult a doctor by keeping the packaging available (Antidote: Vitamin K1, administered by a professional). In accordance with the regulations (N°MA: FR-2012-0035), it is essential to read the label and to respect the precautions before use (H373).
Use biocides with care. Before use, read the label and product information. Dangerous products: observe the precautions for use.
