A naturally balanced composition

The formulation of Terre à Planter Or Brun is based on blond peat, topsoil, composted bark, green compost and horse manure composted with seaweed. This well-thought-out combination makes it possible to obtain a substrate porous enough to aerate the roots and, at the same time, retain the moisture essential for their proper functioning. The nutrients thus available, supplemented by the presence of an organo-mineral fertilizer NPK, support the root system to ensure a solid establishment from the first season.

Planting in the ground made easier

To optimize the growth of shrubs or ornamental plants, simply dig a hole and mix this soil to be planted with the extracted garden soil, in equal parts. This preliminary step balances the structure of the soil, promotes air and water circulation, while avoiding irregularities that could harm root development. Thanks to a dry matter content of 76.1% and a pH of 6.6, the soil obtains a stable texture adapted to a wide variety of plants, whether roses, conifers or evergreen shrubs.

Ideal for large and ornamental bins

The 20 Litre Planting Soil Or Brun can also be grown in large containers, on a spacious terrace or balcony. In this case, the recommended mix is 30% Planting Soil to 70% Potting Soil. This proportion ensures a good balance between drainage and water retention, avoiding stagnation and limiting the risk of root rot. Seaweed, combined with composted manure, helps to gradually nourish the substrate, supporting flowering and plant flourishing throughout the season.

Technical characteristics and quality standards

With a water retention capacity of 575 mL/L, a conductivity of 65 mS/m and an organic matter of 22.5% on dry product, this soil is part of the NF U 44-551 growing media. It contains 1 kg per m of 3 NPK 5-3-8 fertilisers, which complies with NF U 42-001-3 standards for organo-mineral substrates.
