Bucket or drum: what separates them

The difference has less to do with volume than with frequency of use. A drum is filled and closed; a bucket is opened and closed several times a day. The clip-on lid works without tools, where a locking ring calls for a wrench.

Nestable when empty, stackable when closed

The tapered wall lets empty buckets drop one inside another: each additional bucket adds only a few centimetres to the stack. Four stored buckets take barely more room than one, and travel in a single parcel — which is what makes the multipack far better value than four separate purchases.

Once closed, the buckets stack on top of one another instead, each lid acting as a base for the next. Vertical storage in the stockroom, flat storage out of season: both positions are designed for.

Food-grade quality and care

Polypropylene holds no odours and withstands hot washing without warping — it is the material of professional kitchen containers. It resists detergents, dilute acids and bases and oils, which allows both food storage — flour, cereals, animal feed — and workshop or site use.

The opaque white protects the contents from light and takes a marker pen: label, wipe off, reassign. The whole is fully recyclable.
