The avid gardener, whether amateur or professional, knows that powdery mildew (or powdery mildew disease) is one of the most persistent threats to crops. At Multitanks, the Anti-Powdery Mildew and White of Solabiol product, presented in a 100g case, is the biocontrol solution to be preferred. This treatment is distinguished by its formidable effectiveness against powdery mildew, but also scab and grey rot (Botrytis). Its formula, based on potassium hydrogen carbonate, acts by contact with a rapid curative and preventive effect . The product is designed to fit perfectly into a natural cultivation approach, being usable in Organic Farming. It is the essential tool to ensure the health and vitality of vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants.
The effectiveness of this anti-disease treatment is based on an active ingredient of natural origin: potassium hydrogen carbonate (or potassium bicarbonate), present at a high concentration of 85% w/w (850 g/kg). Its mode of action is multi-site and acts by direct contact with the pathogen.
Healing effect: The substance changes the pH and osmotic pressure of fungal (fungus) cells, causing them to dehydrate and die quickly.
Preventive effect: It also creates a hostile environment that prevents spores from germinating and spreading disease.
Broad Spectrum: The product is effective against powdery mildew (the famous white fuzz), scab (often on fruit trees) and grey rot (Botrytis), a disease that affects many vegetables and berries.
Thanks to its low one-day Pre-Harvest Time (DAR), it allows for rapid intervention, even just before harvesting, without compromising crop consumption.
The Anti-Powdery mildew and White Solabiol is a truly versatile treatment that adapts to the majority of garden crops. Its water-soluble powder (SP) format makes it easy to dilute and apply.
Vegetable crops: Vegetables susceptible to powdery mildew and grey mould.
Trees and Small Fruits: Treatment against scab and rot (apples, pears, vines, berries).
Ornamental Garden: Protection of roses, flowering plants and shrubs against powdery mildew.
Potted plants: Can also be used for plant protection on balconies and planters.
The 100g carton package allows the preparation of up to 33 liters of solution, offering a very good yield for the treatment of affected areas.
To guarantee maximum effectiveness and good tolerance by the plants, compliance with the application protocol is essential.
Preparation: Fill the sprayer halfway with water. Weigh the necessary dose (use the measuring cup) and add it. Shake the solution (it is important to shake well, especially for concentrations above 2.5%). Finish filling.
Recommended Dosage:
Vegetables, Roses, Flowers, Ornamental: 3 to 5 grams per litre of water (per 10 m²).
Small Fruits and Vines: 0.5 to 5 grams per litre of water.
Application: Treat by moistening both sides of the leaves. The action is contact, so a complete wetting is required.
Renewal: Repeat treatment every 3 to 8 days, depending on culture, disease pressure, and climatic conditions. In case of heavy rainfall (greater than 20mm), it is recommended to reapply within 48 hours.
Pre-test: Before generalizing the treatment, the professional recommends doing a test on a small part of the plant to ensure that there is no phytotoxicity.
The user must be aware that he is handling a plant protection product that requires strict precautions:
Personal Safety: It is imperative to wear protective gloves and protective clothing. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. The re-entry time is the complete drying of the treated area.
Aquatic protection: To protect aquatic organisms, it is forbidden to apply the product within 5 metres of a water source (ditch, pond, stream, etc.). Never discharge the bottom of the canister or the sprayer washing water into the sink or gutter.
Storage Conditions: Store the product only in the original packaging, in a dry and cool place, away from food.
Warnings: The product may affect auxiliary fauna. Application should be avoided during the blooming period of apples to prevent the risk of roughness. On table grapes, there may be a risk of marking (disappearance of the pruine).
Elimination: The reuse of the packaging is prohibited. Disposal must be done in a waste collection centre or by an approved organisation, and not by household bins.
Use biocidal products with care. Before use, read the label and product information
