Its refreshing and sweet green white flesh is only cooked, unlike other varieties of watermelon. Its bark is dark green with light green stripes. It ripens easily in a mild climate and is ideal for lemon-flavoured jams.

    For large fruit, cut the stem two leaves above the 4th formed watermelon. Watermelon likes sunny exposure and needs a lot of water to grow, especially in prolonged heat.

    This variety of watermelon is ideal for jams, garnished with lemon, pineapple or orange.
