Delete your personal data
You can ask at any time for the personal data Multitanks holds about you to be deleted. This page explains how to do it, how long it takes, and what the law requires us to keep.
Delete data obtained through Facebook Login
If you signed in to our site with your Facebook account, we received from Facebook your first name, last name and e-mail address, and nothing else. We do not receive your friend list, your posts or your photos.
To have this data deleted:
- Remove the app's access. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites, select Multitanks International and click Remove. Facebook then stops sending us anything.
- Ask us to delete the data already received, by e-mail to [email protected] or through our contact form, stating the e-mail address of your Facebook account.
Delete your Multitanks customer account
Write to [email protected] from your account's e-mail address, or use the contact form, giving your name and the account e-mail address. We may ask for proof of identity if any doubt remains: this protects you against fraudulent requests.
Deleted: your account, your addresses, your wishlists, your reviews, your newsletter subscription, and any data received from Facebook or Google if you signed in that way.
How long it takes
Your request is handled within 30 days at most, as required by the General Data Protection Regulation. You receive written confirmation once the deletion has been carried out.
What we are required to keep
If you have placed an order, French law requires us to keep invoices and accounting records for 10 years (article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code). These documents cannot be deleted on request, but they are no longer used for any commercial purpose: no marketing, no newsletter, no profiling.
