This ancient variety of chicory, from Italy, is hasty and resistant to disease. Its dark leaves are rounded, thick, tender and tasty. They form adorable tight apples that look like roses.

Tip Vilmorin: The leafy chicory likes the proximity of cauliflower, because this combination saves space and watering.
