The mash is excellent eaten in salad.

Mash is undemanding and tolerates all types of soil.
It only needs a cool soil and a slightly shady exposure.

Culture advice:

1. Sows: Sow your seeds in the middle of the ground from January to September on the fly (by scattering the seeds) or in lines 20 cm apart. For summer plantings, sow preferably in shady terrain.
2. Harvest: Harvest all year round. Possibly protect the last seedlings from the frosts to prolong the harvest in the spring.

Mash likes the proximity of large plants (pear, celery, tomato, cabbage...) because it grows at ground level, in the shade of its tall neighbors.
