2. Side to be screwed: On the receiving male thread, apply PTFE (Teflon) tape to secure the tapping. Screw the crazy piece from the union to the blockage.

3. Final assembly: Present both sides of the union, check for the O-ring in its groove, and then screw in the center nut by hand. A slight final tightening to the strap wrench can be applied, but absolutely avoid metal clamps that could crack the nut.
