Variety of winter black radishes, forming a round root 8 to 10 cm in diameter and very good preservation. Its flesh is white, very firm, fragrant and slightly pungent.

Companion plant: Black radishes like the proximity of mint, which will keep it away from flea beetles. These insects feed on the leaves, creating small irregular holes.

Soil: Soil without pebbles, to have beautiful uniform roots.

Culture steps

1. I sow:
Sow from July to September, in the middle of the earth, in lines 25 cm apart, in a rich land, with sunny exposure.

2. I talk:
At the 3-4 leaf stage, thin by tearing out the smallest plants, to keep only one radish every 15 cm.

3. I harvest:
Harvest from September to December, 3-4 months after sowing.

Tricks:
Taste the raw root, grated or sliced in a salad. Cooked, in mashed potatoes or chips. The fanes in a soup.
Do not leave un harvested plants in the ground or risk hosting a hotbed of radish flies.
