Companion plant: Black radishes like the proximity of mint, which will keep it away from flea beetles. These insects feed on the leaves, creating small irregular holes.

Soil: Soil without pebbles, to have beautiful uniform roots.

Taste the raw root, grated or sliced in a salad. Cooked, in mashed potatoes or chips. The fanes in a soup.
Do not leave un harvested plants in the ground or risk hosting a hotbed of radish flies.
